Suzi and John Scher will celebrate their 50th anniversary on May 28, 2016. They will celebrate with a cocktail party at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, Maryland, with their children, Marc and Stephanie Scher of Phoenix; and Jill and Richard Baumel of North Bethesda, Maryland; and their four grandchildren.
Their grandson Michael Baumel will become a bar mitzvah that morning.
