More than 1,900 people attended the J Purim Carnival 2020 at the Martin Pear JCC on Sunday, March 8. The event featured face painting, carnival rides, kosher barbecue and a foam pit.

Back to the future

Valley Beit Midrash hosted a panel discussion on “What might Jewish history teach us about the Jewish future?” at Temple Solel on Wednesday, March 4. The panel included Professor Stan Mirvis of the Center for Jewish Studies at ASU, Rabbi Emily Langowitz of Temple Solel and Rabbi Stephen Kahn of Congregation Beth Israel, and was facilitated by Alan Zeichick.
