Israeli leaders offered condolences and expressed solidarity with the Spanish people following a deadly terror attack in Barcelona last week that killed 13 and injured more than 120. The Moroccan national who was being sought in the attack was shot dead on Aug. 21, police said.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack in which at least two men drove a van into a crowd of pedestrians in a popular tourist area in Barcelona.
