The Israeli Air Force struck three positions in the Gaza Strip belonging to the Palestinian terror group Hamas last week in response to four rockets launched from the territory at the southern Israeli cities of Sderot and Eshkol.

“The State of Israel will not allow harm or any attempt to harm its civilians, and will continue to guard its sovereignty,” the IDF said in a statement. “The IDF holds the Hamas terror organization responsible for this situation and the poverty, destruction and despair amongst the citizens of the Gaza Strip.”
