Tips to approach the first day

After completing my first week in my new role as the preschool director at Beth El Congregation, I was reminded of a wonderful book I love reading to children before the first day of school.  

“First Day Jitters,” by Julie Danneberg, is a marvelous account of Sarah Jane Hartwell, who doesn’t want to start over at her new school. She is scared, doesn’t know anybody, and nobody knows her. It will be awful. She just knows it.
