For local resources pertaining to eating disorders, Kathy Rood of Jewish Family & Children’s Service suggests the following organizations:

Community Connections offers residential and outpatient programs for people with eating disorders. Initial evaluations for the residential program are conducted with a primary therapist, registered dietitian/nutritionist and a registered nurse. The outpatient program includes a treatment plan  designed to meet each individual’s basic needs through counseling and skills training. Community Connections outpatient clinic is located 4025 W. Remuda Ranch at The Meadows, located in Wickenburg, treats women, teens and children with anorexia, bulimia and related issues as well as those with binge eating disorder, obesity and compulsive overeating. In addition, they treat women 18 and older who are struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder and body dysmorphic disorder.
