For local resources pertaining to eating disorders, Kathy Rood of Jewish Family & Children’s Service suggests the following organizations:

Community Connections offers residential and outpatient programs for people with eating disorders. Initial evaluations for the residential program are conducted with a primary therapist, registered dietitian/nutritionist and a registered nurse. The outpatient program includes a treatment plan  designed to meet each individual’s basic needs through counseling and skills training. Community Connections outpatient clinic is located 4025 W. Bell Road, Suite #6, Phoenix. For more information, call Karen Jorgensen, clinical coordinator, 623-242-8460.
