Monsoon season always has a way of keeping Valley residents on their toes. Newcomers are always surprised by the storms’ ferocity, while longtime and native Valley residents tend to forget the damage they can cause.

Local DIY guru and radio host Rosie Romero of “Rosie on the House” has lived in the Valley since he moved here as a boy in 1988. He’s been through many a monsoon season and says this year has been comparatively mild, at least in the Valley.
