Journalists laud work of SARRC in new book

In the epilogue of their book, “In a Different Key: The Story of Autism,” John Donvan and Caren Zucker, two award-winning journalists, credit the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) and Greater Phoenix for creating a supportive community. 

SARRC and its sister nonprofit First Place, a multi-level program for adults with autism and other special needs, hosted the authors at a Feb. 25 reception at Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix and at a breakfast that morning on Arizona State University’s downtown campus.
