Bowlmor Lanes

Large video screens add another dimension to the bowling lanes at Bowlmor.

If you’re looking for an unusual venue for your simcha, why not consider an upscale bowling party at Bowlmor Lanes?

The Old Town Scottsdale venue gives an uptown spin to Ralph Kramden’s favorite pastime.

The amenities include 22 lanes of blacklight bowling that can accommodate more than 400 guests; a semi-private four-lane bowling suite featuring a bar, lounge and buffet setup; a semi-private lounge featuring two billiard tables and seven flat-screen TVs; and an audio-video setup ready for your party, including wireless microphones and floor-to-ceiling video screens at the end of each lane.

With the exception of birthday cakes/cupcakes, you can’t bring food or beverages into Bowlmor. The food options are diverse, though, including vegetable crudite, cheese, hummus and seasonal fruit trays among the lighter fare. The venue’s “Signature Add-Ons” include a taco station, an old-fashioned ice cream bar, and a “New York station” that offers hotdogs, mini-prezels and knishes.

Buffet options come in three tiers: Silver (a salad, starter and entree); Gold (a salad, two starters, two entrees, a side and dessert); and Platinum (two salads, two starters, three entrees, two sides and dessert). Entree platters include cheese pizza and Cajun mahi, while sides include garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans. There are specialty packages focused on a single food category, such as a pizza party.

Beverages include beer, wine and cocktails.

Bowlmor recommends that large parties of 40 or more book at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Bowling parties there typically last about 2 1/2 hours, but longer events, including tournament-style play can be accommodated.

Bowlmor is located at 7300 E. Thomas Road, Scottsdale. Call 480-946-5308 or visit bowlmor.com.
