Vayishlach, Genesis 32:4-36:43

“Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him until the break of dawn ... he perceived that he could not overcome him ... Then he said, ‘Let me go, for dawn has broken’” (Bereishit 32:25-27). Rashi citing the Midrash on the words “for dawn has broken,” explains, “and I must recite song by day.”
