Beshalach, Exodus 13:17-17:16

A child comes home from Sunday school and his mother asks him what he learned in class that morning. “Well,” the child begins, “our teacher told us about how the Israelites escaped from Egypt. They got to the Sea of Reeds and built pontoons and then, when the Egyptians got close to them, they sent in the Israeli Air Force and bombed the Egyptians.” The mother looks at her son with surprise and asks, “Is that really what the teacher told you?” “Not exactly,” replies her son, “but, if I told you what the teacher really said, you’d never believe it!”
