Passover Market holds pet Passover seder

In an effort to raise awareness of its kosher-for-Passover canned pet food, Evanger’s Kosher Pet Foods hosted a pet-friendly and family-friendly seder for pets April 18 at Choice Pet Market’s Scottsdale location on Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard.

Nurit Avigdor, the mother of the store’s co-owner Andy Avigdor and a songleader at several local Jewish schools, led the seder for the furry guests and their people, using a Haggadah to tell the Passover story (the frog dog toy was a popular item). There was even a search for the afikomen (the prize was an Evanger’s dog treat) and several Passover songs.
