Myrna Jane Levine, 81, of Phoenix, daughter of Anna and Wilfred Levine, died Nov. 24, 2017. She was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Myrna was a teacher, counselor, friend, poker player, mahjong lover, artist, adventure seeker, traveler and Nana who taught her grandchildren that they could do anything they put their mind to. “Either you have what you want, or you have all the reasons why you can’t have it,” she would say. “It’s all about attitude.” Her surviving loved ones include daughters Wendy (Danny) Levey and Tricia (Rob) Ginis; grandchildren Maddy and Brenden Ginis, and Sammy and Benji Levey; and nephews David (Kim), Rob (Amy) and Bill (Rebecca) Levine.
