Fred S.Greenwood, 87 passed away on Oct. 13. Born in Holland he was a hidden child and survived the Holocaust (You can read his memoir at Fred.Kielsky.com). In 1952 he came to America and was immediately sent to fight in Korea. He married and had three children. He was married a second time in 1994 to Dr. Vera Kielsky-Greenwood. Surviving him are his wife Vera (Phoenix), his son Naftali (Israel), 16 grandchildren and 17 Israeli great-grandchildren. Services were held at Beth El Cemetary on Oct. 16, with Rabbi Lavinsky officiating. Contributions in his memory are suggested to Ben Gurion University or JNF.
