Dr. Leo Biglaiser passed away on October 19, 2017. Dr. Biglaiser was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He attended the City College of New York, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated from the Columbia University School of Optometry. After serving in the army during the Korean War, Dr. Biglaiser moved to Arizona where he worked for more than 60 years as an optometrist. He retired at the age of 88 as the oldest working optometrist in the country. He is survived by his sons, Gary and Glen, daughter Wendi, and five grandchildren.
