Ruth Duskin Feldman, 80, died May 18, 2015. Born in Chicago, she was an author, editor, educator, public speaker and madricha. She was affiliated with the Society for Humanistic Judaism and the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Survivors include daughters Laurie and Heidi; son Jal; sister, Bunny L. Shuch of Phoenix; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held at Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation in Lincolnshire, Illinois, with Rabbi Adam Chalom officiating. Arrangements were made by Goldman Funeral Group.

Dave R. Kazen, 88, died June 1, 2015. Born in Chicago, he was a chemist and a United States Navy medic during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Bella; daughters, Linda Trachsler and Michelle Pulford; son, Steven; brother, Howard; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Beth El Cemetery, with Rabbi John Linder officiating. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Dora Wilner (Franklyn) Sheps, 98, of Tempe, died May 10, 2015. Born in New York City, she was a retired office manager.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Stern of Tempe; son, Alan Sheps of Kihei, Maui; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Miami. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Daniel Suchoff, 60, of Phoenix, died May 19, 2015. Born in Mineola, New York, he was an entrepreneur and financial adviser.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; daughter, Tess of Boston; son, Noah of Phoenix; and sisters, Marla Mendelsohn of Hoboken, New Jersey, and Ronnie Klein of Chicago.

Services were held at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, with Rabbi Mari Chernow officiating. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.
