Saralyn Rose Lasner
Saralyn Rose Lasner, 81, died Dec. 2, 2019. She was born in Oakland, California, and lived in Phoenix.
She is survived by her spouse, Harvey Lasner of Phoenix; and her son, Bert Lasner of Phoenix.
Services were held on Dec. 5, 2019, at Beth Israel Cemetery and were officiated by Rabbi Laib Blotner.

Albert Mendy Sarko
Albert Mendy Sarko, age 63, died of heart failure on Nov. 20 in his Tucson home, where he had resided for the past three years.
A child prodigy, he was an accomplished musician who had studied music composition at the New England Conservatory, Yale and Columbia. Albert spent 10 years touring Europe playing with many well-known musicians. He played several instruments; he was best known as a pianist, playing jazz music, some of which he wrote himself. Music was his true love and he enjoyed teaching as well as performing. A true artist that marched to his own drum.
His father, Emanuel Peter Sarko, passed away in December 2007.
Albert is survived by his mother, Elaine Weingarden Sarko, of Scottsdale; sister Suzen Sarko; and nephews Stephen Ravet and Brandon and wife Sigi Ravet.
Jim Waxenberg, 74, died Sept. 23, 2019. He was born in Davenport, Iowa, and lived in Scottsdale. He was a member of Temple Solel.
He is survived by his spouse, Tobee Waxenberg; daughter Natalie Waxenberg; son Andy (Hallie) Waxenberg; brother Stuart Waxenberg; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morrie and Irene Waxenberg; and his brother, Howard Waxenberg.
Services were held on Oct. 3, 2019, at Temple Solel and were officiated by Rabbis Jond Linder and Emily Langowitz.
