I have been trying to figure out what to write about for this edition of Chalk Talk. I have looked into the "top subjects" regarding education, but I keep coming back to one topic: alumni.

Recently, one of our alumni whom I hadn't heard from in a while visited our school. I say, "hadn't heard from in a while" because this is not the norm here. When a student graduates, we almost always have a continued relationship with them. They call us, keep in touch through Facebook, and visit us on a regular basis.
