Liz Tregor-Dokken has been hired as events coordinator by the Arizona Jewish Historical Society. She will be responsible for marketing and coordinating events at the Cutler-Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center in Phoenix. Tregor-Dokken most recently served as associate director of the American Jewish Committee's Arizona chapter. She previously was director of development for the Arizona Opera. AJHS plans to make the center available for rental later this year.

Temple Kol Ami's membership recently chose the Reform synagogue's 2010 Board of Trustees. Board officers are Phil Adelman, president; Steve Cohen and David Taylor, vice presidents; Michael Blaire, secretary; and Lewie Miles, treasurer. Board members are Mike Feibus, Jay Josephs, Larry Kahn, Michelle Otero, Randie Stein and Bruce Wall.

Charles Sidi, CEO of Scottsdale Arizona Custom Home Builders, recently received a Best in American Living Award for the Best One-Of-A-Kind Spec Built Home in the 6,501-square-foot and over category from Professional Builder magazine and the National Association of Home Builders. The 6,815-square-foot home that earned him the honor was completed in 2009 in Saguaro Forest at Desert Mountain.
