Hillel picks 20 for Birthright trip

The Hillel Jewish Student Center at Arizona State University has selected 20 students to visit Israel as part of the Birthright 2000 program. The students are among 3,000 full-time students picked by Hillel International and the Birthright program.

During their stay, the students will visit Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Negev Desert, tour the Western Wall, kibbutzim and the Israeli Knesset, and attend a gala event during which Prime Minister Ehud Barak will address the students.

The students and their hometowns are: Yael Fleming, Tucson; Sean Holcombe, Phoenix; Erik Brodie, East Brunswick, N.J.; Jeanine Boliak, Manalapan, N.J.; Gregory Liebertz, Peoria; Seana Stukov, Mesa; Samantha Alper, East Windsor, N.J.; Robert Abramson, Tempe; Bethany Liebertz, Peoria; Lindsey Fieldman, Framingham, Mass.; Sara Immerman, Tucson; Sarah Wintroub, Scottsdale; Bradley Neuman, Tucson; Eldad Engleman, Miami, Fla.; Jason Greenstein, Merrick, N.Y.; Mike Simmrin, Woodland Hills, Calif.; Dayna Szabo, Scottsdale; Joshua Levine, Ellicott City, Md.; Pamela Salter, Smithtown, N.Y.; and Randi Schechter, Scottsdale.
