Investment, planning issues explored at Financial Fest

With turbulence and volatility now common in financial markets, consumers can get help with investment and planning decisions by attending Financial Fest '98, a national consumer investment expo and seminar being held Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Scottsdale Embassy Suites hotel.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature more than 60 investment product and service-related exhibitors, as well as free hourly seminars. Exhibitors from several prominent mutual fund companies, brokerage firms and public companies are scheduled to participate.

Local co-sponsor KFNN Financial Newsradio (1510 AM) will air its Saturday lineup of financial talk shows live beginning at 8 a.m. Financial Fest, which began in 1992, is a division of CRC Broadcasting Co., which owns KFNN in Phoenix and KNUU in Las Vegas.

The event is produced annually in Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas and New Orleans. Last year's fest drew an estimated 4,000 people in the Valley.
