Goldwater among Arizona photographers featured in KAET production

The photographic works of Arizonans Adriel Heisey, Jerry Jacka and Barry Goldwater will be featured in "Visions of Arizona," a new KAET-TV Channel 8 production premiering at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17.

It will be rebroadcast at 9 p.m. and midnight on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Adriel Heisey specializes in taking scenic photographs from the air - from the tiny aircraft he built himself. Jerry Jacka is one of Arizona Highways' most prolific photographers, having had some 1,500 of his photographs published in the magazine over the past 30 years. He uses light to create dramatic pictures of landscapes.

And the recently deceased Goldwater, best known as a politician and statesman, began photographing the state as a hobby and wound up creating a pictorial history of Arizona and its people.
