Nominations sought for state Parents of the YearNominations are being accepted for Arizona's Parents of the Year, to be awarded at the Arizona Parents' Day Awards Dinner and Celebration at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, at the River of Life Fellowship Center, 4039 E. Raymond St.State Rep. Mark Anderson (R-Mesa), who serves as state coordinator for National Parents' Day, said: "The purpose of Parents' Day is to set aside a special day for people to focus on parenting, draw attention to the valuable role parents play in shaping society, and to facilitate learning how parents can improve their child-rearing skills." Nominations should include information on what makes these parents exceptional. Deadline is July 10. Nominations should be faxed to 649-5763 or mailed to Arizona Parents' Dinner, P.O.
