DreamWorks Records is releasing two recordings of collections of music "inspired by" DreamWorks Pictures' yet-to-be-released animated feature film "The Prince of Egypt," which tells the biblical story of Moses and Rameses.

The albums - one country, one a mixture of R&B, pop and gospel - are scheduled to come out in the fall. The film is set to open Dec. 18.

The songs on the albums concern the themes in the film, including love, faith, freedom, deliverance and family, according to DreamWorks.

"We're allowing the music to be individual to the artist. ... It may go in different directions, but there will be a common theme that runs throughout because it is inspired by one story," said James Stroud, head of DreamWorks Records Nashville.

The producers of the other album said songs on the album speak to scenes in the film that moved the hearts of the songwriters.

A separate soundtrack album featuring music from the actual film also will be released. Six new songs were written to be used in the film by lyricist Stephen Schwartz and composer Hans Zimmer.

DreamWorks SKG is a partnership of Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. DreamWorks Records is based in Beverly Hills.
