SCORE to hold workshopsThe Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) will hold a pre-business planning workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Arizona Institute of Business Technology, 6049 N. 43rd Ave., Phoenix.The workshop will cover aspects of formulating a business plan, including preparing financial statements and analyzing assets and qualifications. Pre-registration fee is $35 ($40 at the door). SCORE is also presenting a workshop on buying and selling a business from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 9, at Western International University, 9215 N. Black Canyon Highway, Room 104, Phoenix. SCORE is a volunteer organization of retired business owners and professionals, with more than 100 members in the Valley. Call 640-2329 for more details on the workshops.
