Hadassah Valley of the Sun has announced its 2005-2006 board of directors. The officers are Sheilah Wagner, president; Adele Smith, executive vice president; Pam Morris, communications vice president; Gail Scheck and Andrea Snyder, education vice presidents; Andrea Kravets and Gail Nochomovitz, membership vice presidents; Randee Rudick, program vice president; Libby Weiss, treasurer; Melissa Singer, recording secretary; Shirley Grossman, corresponding secretary; and Fredi Brown, past president. Group presidents are Traci Blackstone, Susan Fox, Tobe Geller, Tammi Goldberg, Phyllis Kaminsky, Hana Lange, Dennie Lieber, Jan Liebner, Arlene Millman, Vivian Salit, Sonja Trontz, Lorraine Wolck and Shirley Wolin.

The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood has installed its new officers for the 2005-2006 year: Joyce Spartonos and Shirley Shalett, co-presidents; Marilyn Behr, treasurer; Gail Dante and Judy Wolin, programming committee co-chairwomen; Fran Applebaum, Barbara Kaplan and Gail Weiss, membership co-chairwomen; Helen Brenaman, recording secretary; Marcia Weiner; corresponding secretary; and Shelly Henden, adviser.

The Phoenix Symphony announced the appointment of Bob Selby as the new director of marketing and alternate distribution. He has extensive experience in sales and brand marketing.
