Ali Jade Arkules, daughter of Stacey and David Arkules of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah May 14, 2005, at the Arizona Biltmore.

Grandparents are Barbara and Bernard Arkules of Paradise Valley; and Fran and Al Sachs of Paradise Valley.

Ali attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, swimming and travel.

For her mitzvah project, Ali volunteered with the Make-a-Wish foundation at El Cerdo Ranch though the National Charity League.



Allie Leigh Churney, daughter of Cindy and Neal Churney of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah May 14, 2005, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Sandy and Jerry Levy of Scottsdale; Eileen Churney of Louisville, Ky.; and the late Alvin M. Churney.

Great-grandparent is the late Mollie Gerber.

Allie attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing and watching movies.

For her mitzvah project, Allie volunteered at Phoenix Children's Hospital and also purchased DVDs for the facility's pediatric intensive care ward.



David Norman Decof, son of Lenore C. and Lee M. Decof of Chandler, will become a bar mitzvah May 14, 2005, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Carmen and Daniel Senior of Caracas, Venezuela; and Arlene and Bob Luber of Cranston, R.I.

David attends Bogle Junior High. His hobbies include hockey, skateboarding and playing the guitar.

For his mitzvah project, David donated polar bear hockey centerpieces to Phoenix Children's Hospital that were dedicated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.



Alexandra Christine Feldman, daughter of Donna and Mark Feldman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah May 14, 2005, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Barbara Berghoff of Boynton Beach, Fla.; Allan Feldman of Sun City; and Patricia and Joseph Scelza of Scottsdale. Great-grandparents are Pearl Feldman of Lincoln, Calif.; the late William Feldman; and the late Margie and Eugene Klein.

Alexandra attends Mountain Trails Middle School. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, acting and computers.

For her mitzvah project, Alexandra volunteered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
