A girl, Sydney Leslie, was born Feb. 3, 2005, to Valerie and David Mittelman of Phoenix.

Grandparents are Linda and Jerry Mittelman of Phoenix; Evelyn Moser of Vineland, N.J.; and the late Leslie Moser.

Great-grandparents are the late Sylvia and Samuel Meil; and the late Mollie and William Mittelman.

The Mittelmans are also the parents of Jason, 4.



A boy, Jacob Mason, was born Jan. 29, 2005, to Rachel S. and Elliot H. Wernick of Phoenix.

Grandparents are Jill and Robert Schwartz of Paradise Valley; and Noreen and Howard Wernick of Phoenix.

Great-grandparents are Joan Wallace of Phoenix; and Ruth Schwartz of Hollywood, Fla.

The Wernicks are also the parents of Gabrielle, 1.
