Jewish News contributor Barry Kluger has been appointed co-chairman of the newly reformed Film and Television Commission by Gov. Janet Napolitano. Kluger, a former senior communications executive with MTV, will serve along with Hugh Downs, Leslie Nielsen, Rick Schroeder and Joanie Sledge, to name a few. The goal of the commission is to lure more filmmakers and other entertainment industries to Arizona.

KeyComm Public Relations Inc., a full-service communications agency, has been selected by the East Valley Jewish Community Center to serve as its new public relations agency. The agency was hired to help educate the Southeast and East Valley about the EVJCC's upcoming move. KeyComm is owned by Marci Grossman.

Arthur R. Rosen has been appointed the representative of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport (DVT). DVT is the second busiest general aviation airport and the 23rd busiest overall airport in the world.

Steptoe & Johnson LLP announced that David J. Bodney, a partner in its Phoenix office, has been elected as one of 10 new directors of the Washington, D.C.-based Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. The organization is a nonpartisan, nonprofit formed in 1963 at the request of President John F. Kennedy to involve the private bar in providing legal services to address racial discrimination. Bodney's practice areas include media and constitutional law, civil litigation, American Indian law and government affairs. He has taught at the College of Law at Arizona State University. He is a frequent contributor to local and national publications and is a member of the board of the Anti-Defamation League, Arizona Region.
