Gabriel Avraham Goldson, son of Rebecca and Rabbi Jordan Goldson of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 25, 2004, at Temple Kol Ami.

Grandparents are Milton Kamins of Los Angeles; Howard Goldson of Woodstock, N.Y.; the late Priscilla Kamins; and the late Gloria Goldson.

Gabriel attends Pardes Jewish Day School. His hobbies include reading, football and swimming.

For his mitzvah project, Gabriel donated toys to the Sojourner Center for Women and Children. He also donated to Mazon, a Jewish response to hunger.



Elizabeth Ruderman, daughter of Dianne and Paul Ruderman of Phoenix, became a bat mitzvah Dec. 11, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Betty Miller of Phoenix; Elaine Ruderman of San Diego; the late Morris Miller; and the late Sidney Ruderman.

Elizabeth attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include softball, travelling, social studies and student council.
