Jacqueline Michelle Mast, daughter of Rona and Jeff Mast of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Nov. 6, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Claire and Arthur Covner of Sun City West; Helen Swisher and Ken Mast of Rio Verde; and the late Shirley Mast.

Great-grandparents are the late Bertha and Max Alpern; and the late Cecile and Jerry Covner.

Jacqueline attends Desert Shadows Middle School. Her hobbies include volleyball, soccer, surfing, boogie-boarding and bowling.

For her mitzvah project, Jacqueline collected, sorted and gave away books for the Sunnyslope Book Drive, and also volunteered at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center.



Stephanie Renee Mast, daughter of Rona and Jeff Mast of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Nov. 6, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Loretta and Bernie Goldstein of Scottsdale; and Ellie and Mel Goldstein of Scottsdale.

Chad attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include baseball, sports and computers.



Gabrielle Francine Richman, daughter of Stacey and Bill Richman of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah Nov. 6, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Barbara Lenchner of Los Angeles; the late Alan Lenchner; and the late Gloria and Gilbert Richman.

Gabrielle attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include tennis and writing.



Shayna Sanderson, daughter of Janice and John Sanderson of Mesa, will become a bat mitzvah Nov. 6, 2004, at Temple Emanuel of Tempe.

Grandparents are Anita and George Tikotsky of Englishtown, N.J.; Jane Sanderson of Northbrook, Ill.; and the late John A. Sanderson.

Great-grandparents are the late Mamie and Harry Marcus; the late Mary and Samuel Tikotsky; the late Maria and Eugene Klein; and the late Florence and Jack Sanderson.

Shayna attends Shepherd Junior High. Her hobbies include soccer, violin, acting, writing and the arts.

For her mitzvah project, Shayna is collecting toiletries to send to troops in the Middle East.



Jack Denmark Schwimmer, son of Tracy and Mark Schwimmer of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Nov. 6, 2004, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Samuel Denmark of Scottsdale; the late Renee Denmark; and the late Sarah and Sanford Schwimmer.

Jack attends Phoenix Country Day School. His hobbies include baseball, music and reading.

For his mitzvah project, Jack cleaned citrus at various food banks, including St. Vincent DePaul and St. Mary's Food Bank. He also performed music at area nursing homes.
