Parents of the couple are Joni and Jesse Cohen of Phoenix; Karen Lloyd of Philadelphia; and Ron Kutz of Philadelphia.

The bride-to-be received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. She received a master's degree in sports business from Arizona State University. She is a culinary development manager for Aramark's sports and entertainment division.

The groom-to-be received his bachelor's degree from Emory University. He received his Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University. He is a resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University.

A March 26, 2005, wedding is planned at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix.
