Ruth Gross Bass passed away September 16, 2004, the first day of Rosh Hashanah, at age 89. She moved to Arizona at age 79 from Westchester County, New York, and lived with her son, Stephen. She immediately resumed her lifelong career as a private tutor of languages, mathematics, reading and writing skills. She had many years of success teaching dyslexic persons of all ages.
