Donald Nathaniel Benjamin has completed Cadet Basic Training at the U.S. Military Academy. Benjamin graduated from Arcadia High School in 2004 and started with the academy on June 28. He plans to graduate in 2008 from West Point and to be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

The Arizona Registrar of Contractors Industry Advisory Council has named 10 recipients for its Building Blocks of the Community awards. The awards program was started to notice construction industry members who have donated time, labor, materials and funds to projects beneficial to the Arizona community. The recipients include Canoa Builders, Inc., Hunt Construction Group, Inc., Townsend Construction, Arizona Builders' Alliance, Arizona Chapter Associated General Contractors, Yavapai County Contractors Association, Borderland Construction Company, Inc., Rosedin Electric, Midway Chevrolet/Isuzu, and Southwest Gas Corporation.

Nancy Tomback is celebrating her 10-year anniversary with Russ Lyon Realty Company and 20 years as a licensed Realtor in the Valley.

Goodmans Interior Structures is the 2004 recipient of the Spirit of Enterprise Award. The award is presented annually by the Center for the Advancement of Small Business at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. The award was presented at the eighth annual Edward Jones Spirit of Enterprise Award luncheon Oct. 7 at The Arizona Biltmore.

Judy Fox Interiors, Inc., received an award for Contract Healthcare at the 2004 American Society of Interior Designers 28th Design Excellence Awards celebration at The Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix. Judy Fox Interiors Studio is located at 4147 N. Goldwater Blvd., Suite 101, Scottsdale.
