Rachel Ann Stillman, daughter of Debbie and Mitch Stillman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Rise Stillman of Scottsdale; Ann Marie and Denis McCausland of Akron, Ohio; and the late Ralph Stillman.

Great-grandparent is Josephine Sherman of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Rachel attends Mountainside Middle School. Her hobbies include dance, swimming, working out at the gym, traveling and attending Jewish summer overnight camp.

For her mitzvah project, Rachel worked with the Council for Jews with Special Needs, helping disabled teens.



Rebecca Nicole Rosenkrantz, daughter of Lisa Rosenkrantz of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Joan Rosenkrantz of Phoenix; and the late Irwin Rosenkrantz.

Rebecca attends Desert Shadows Middle School. Her hobby is basketball.

For her mitzvah project, Rebecca collected and donated clothing and baby items to a battered women's shelter.



Andrew Keller, son of Ginny and Marty Keller of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Kath-erine Scheller of Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.; Sondra and Ernest Keller of Mountainside, N.J.; and the late Frank Scheller.

Andrew attends The King David School. His hobbies are tennis and playing the drums.

For his mitzvah project, Andrew helped teach young school children how to read.



Rachel Charly Edwards, daughter of Marilyn and Ken Edwards of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 8, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Jean and Sam Feldstein of Lancaster, Penn.; and Joyce and Pat Keller of Huron, Ohio.

Rachel attends Akimel A-al Middle School. Her hobbies include track, dance, gymnastics and listening to music.

For her mitzvah project, Rachel collected donations from her school, friends, family and temple members for the Arizona Humane Society.



Logan Haley Benjamin, daughter of Janet Kornblatt and Samuel Benjamin of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Judith and Julius Kornblatt of Scottsdale; and the late Anne and Leo Benjamin.

Logan attends Mountainside Middle School. Her hobbies include karate, computers and music.

For her mitzvah project, Logan volunteered at Life Care Center of Scottsdale.



Sarah Elizabeth Weisman, daughter of Elizabeth and Steven Weisman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Shonnette Weisman of Scottsdale; the late Lawrence Weisman; and the late Elizabeth and Anthony Virgona.

Great-grandparents are Shonnette Kahn of New Orleans; the late Charles Kahn; and the late Marina and Carmen Virgona.

Sarah attends Rancho Solano Private School. Her hobbies are volleyball and cross-country.



David Strauss, son of Sherri and Steven Strauss of Tempe, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Roz and Robert Fischer of Scottsdale; and Estelle Cohen of Manalapan, N.J.

Great-grandparent is Nellie Markowitz of Brooklyn, N.Y.

David attends Pueblo Junior High School. His hobbies include baseball, guitar and music.

For his mitzvah project, David helped collect books and sports equipment for the Thomas J. Pappas School.



Lee Samuel Benson, son of Phyllis and Lawrence Benson of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Lillian and George Benson of Sun City West; and Anna and Danny Geslewitz of Scottsdale.

Lee attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include computers, volunteering, bicycling and trumpet.



Zachary Matthew Herzog, son of Melissa and Richard Herzog of Cave Creek, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 9, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparent is Lou Becker of Scottsdale.

Zachary attends Desert Arroyo Middle School. His hobbies include basketball, reading and chess tournaments.

For his mitzvah project, Zachary collected hats to donate to cancer patients through the American Cancer Society.
