Jessica Segal and Kevin Langbaum of Owings Mills, Md., announce their engage-ment.

Parents of the couple are Ivy and Herman Segal of Scottsdale; and Debby and Jerry Langbaum of Pikes-ville, Md.

The bride-to-be received her bachelor's degree from Oberlin College. She is currently attending John Hopkins University working towards her PhD.

The groom-to-be received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. He is Web producer for balti-moresun.com.

A Feb. 19, 2005, wedding is planned at Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale.
