The Society of Professional Journalists' Valley of the Sun Chapter was named 2003-04 National Large Chapter of the Year at an awards banquet for the organization, as part of its annual national convention, held Sept. 11 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.

Arizona Foothills Magazine's Web site, www.azfoothillsmag.com, has won a WebAward for Standard of Excellence from the Web Marketing Association, Inc. The Web site was redesigned in 2003 and launched in January 2004. The magazine reaches more than 308,000 readers throughout the United States and Canada.
