Harold H. Byrde has joined the Schick Design Group as director of hospitality design. He has served the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and has overseen the design and implementation of hotel projects such as the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Carlyle Hotel in South Beach, Miami.

David and Lynn Jacobson, owners of The Maids Home Services, a professional residential cleaning service in Phoenix, were awarded the President's Club Award at the com-pany's annual convention in Omaha, Neb., for having one of the best franchises of the 690 franchise markets in the United States and Canada.

James P. Krehbiel, a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified cognitive-behavioral therapist, will open a new practice at the Boardroom Suites of Scottsdale, west of the 101 freeway on Shea Boulevard. He has been involved in education, counselor training and therapy for more than 30 years.

Jim Vaughan, owner of Vaughan's Southwest Custom Tours, was honored as the National Concierge Association Preferred Vendor by the National Concierge Association - AZ Chapter with Certification at the organization's July meeting.

Nelson A. Lerner has been named vice president and managing executive for Northern Trust Bank's West Valley region, whose headquarters are at 19432 R. H. Johnson Blvd. in Sun City West. He will be responsible for overseeing the trust, investment, banking and lending relationships managed by local onsite professionals. He holds three degrees and earned his master's degree in business administration from Arizona State University.
