B'nai Mitzvah

Jacob Isaac Bushkin, son of Jodi and Gary Bushkin of Paradise Valley, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 18, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Seline and Lawrence Bushkin of Paradise Valley; and Ellen and Walt Brown of Phoenix.

Jacob attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include cars, electronics and golf.

For his mitzvah project, Jacob worked with children who have communication disorders.



Talia Erin Green, daughter Gwen Green of Phoenix and Rebekah and Tom Green of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 18, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Madeline Cohen of Naharya, Israel; Jan and Jerry Eisen of Scottsdale; Vivian and Charles Green of Phoenix; and the late Samuel Cohen.

Talia attends the Arizona School for the Arts. Her hobbies include gymnastics and art.

For her mitzvah project, Talia dressed as a clown and visited staff and patients at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea, doing magic tricks, telling jokes and passing out treats.
