Elyssa Margaret Berman, daughter of Sandra Berman of Cave Creek and Michael Berman of Cave Creek, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Rochelle and Aaron Weg of Jerusalem; Elaine and Shirin Hashimi of Phoenix; and the late Margaret and Manuel Berman.

Elyssa attends Tortolita Junior High School. Her hobbies are sports and movies.



Matthew Beau Feibus, son of Debbie Wolf-Feibus and Michael Feibus of Cave Creek, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Kol Ami.

Grandparents are Susan and Howard Feibus of Bethesda, Md.; Dallas Wolf of Houston; and the late Rae Wolf.

Matthew attends Desert Arroyo Middle School. His hobbies are basketball and football.



Aaron Robert Lieberman, son of Amy and Richard Lieberman of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Margit Johnson of Tucson; David Lieberman of Chicago; Julie and Murray Rosenthal of West Peabody, Mass.; and the late Sheila Adams.

Aaron attends Desert Canyon Middle School. His hobbies are baseball, basketball, football, trumpet, guitar, skiing and summer camp.



Jeffrey Ian Donley, son of Rona and John Donley of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Shirley and Jack Donley of College Park, Md.; Selma Gelin of Lake Worth, Fla.; and the late Alvin Gelin.

Great-grandparents are Ida Mae Donley of Rockville, Md.; and the late Melvin Donley.

Jeffrey attends Desert Arroyo Middle School. His hobbies are sports, photography and technology.



Rachel Shira Rosenbloom, daughter of Michelle and Michael Rosenbloom of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Lois and Maynard Rosenbloom of Prairie Village, Kan.; Sandra Raskin of Overland Park Kan.; and the late Melvin Raskin.

Rachel attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies are art, dance and softball.

For her mitzvah project, Rachel worked at Andre House and donated clothes, toys and toiletries to various charities.



Rachael Morgan Dahan, daughter of Marna and Eli Dahan of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Jacklin and Gad Dahan of Nahariya, Israel; Sandy Skibinsky of Scottsdale and Philadelphia; and the late Robert Skibinsky.

Great-grandparents are the late Freda and Max Kriegler and the late Esther and David Dahan.

Rachael attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming and babysitting.

For her mitzvah project, Rachael volunteered for the Children's Summer Reading program at Phoenix Public Library and volunteered at Rescue, a no-kill animal shelter.



Joanna Griem, daughter of Sheryl and Paul Griem of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Marilyn Sandler of Revere, Mass; May Griem of Westboro, Mass.; the late Joseph Sandler; and the late Paul Griem.

Joanna attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include volleyball, bowling, violin, backgammon and cribbage.

For her mitzvah project, Joanna volunteered at two day care centers, did charity bowling for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, volunteered at a rabbit rescue center, and collected books for Sunnyslope Elementary School.



Marisa Devon Anderson, daughter of Marilyn and M.L. "Andy" Anderson of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Henny Feld of Scottsdale; the late Marvin Feld; and the late JeNettie and Fred C. Anderson of Phoenix.

Marisa attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobby is volleyball.

For her mitzvah project, Marisa walked in and helped with Race for the Cure, served at Watkins Overflow Shelter, sorted socks for Shoebox Ministries and helped with fund-raising for Church of the Beatitudes.



Jason Scott Krell, son of Vicki and Bruce Krell of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Sept. 4, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Bessieanne Krell of Phoenix; and Lynne and Hal Hirschenbein of Morton Grove, Ill.

Jason attends Centennial Middle School. His hobbies are basketball, acting, reading and drawing.
