People on the moveAudrey Lewis has accepted a position as parent center coordinator at the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center's Early Childhood Center. She brings more than 20 years of experience in education to the position, which is a new position at the JCC.David Talbot, CLU is opening his first Life Settlement Agency. The agency, David Talbot, CLU and Associates, will work with indivi-duals and businesses to purchase their existing life insurance policies. Jodi Freeman of Scottsdale has joined the team of New City Promotions Inc., a specialty advertising firm located in Phoenix, as an account manager. Marsha Goodman has become the majority owner and CEO of U.S. Business Interiors. Goodman had been president of the 7-year-old company, which provides business furnishings and services to create optimal business environments, since 1999. Nellie Foster and Karen Johnson have started a new home and pet sitting company, Animals and Crackers, LLC. This busi-ness aims to allow pet owners to leave their pets in the security and comfort of their home, without having to impose on neighbors. Julie Manchester, Gretchen Matteson and Rae Mie Venarucci, D.C. have joined the staff of Fitness Dynamics Pilates Studio. The studio trains members in several dif-ferent Pilates programs, including Equilates, which was developed by Brenda McDermott, the studio's owner. Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy opened a new clinic at 539 E. Glendale Ave., Phoenix. The clinic is owned by Itamar Stern, PT, OCS and Michael Basten, PT, ATC/L and open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Mark Sydnor has joined the CopperWynd Resort and Club as tennis director. Tennis Magazine named the resort as one of the 50 greatest U.S. tennis re-sorts. Sydnor played varsity tennis at Saguaro High School and graduated from Arizona State Uni-versity. |
