Obituaries

Eleanor Ruth Goldfarb

Eleanor Ruth Goldfarb of Scottsdale died Aug. 2, 2004. She was 76. She was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to Arizona in 1980. She was a health care dietician.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen of Queens, N.Y., and Debra Goldfarb-Norton of Bellingham, Mass.; and two grandchildren.

Services were held in New Jersey. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Gertrude Cohen

Gertrude Cohen of Scottsdale died Aug. 10, 2004. She was 90. She was born in Chicago and move to Arizona in 1957. She was a retired claims adjuster for workman's compensation.

Survivors include her daughter, Joann Cohen Hopper of Tempe; son, Richard of Decatur, Ga.; brother, Bernard Kramer of Oceanside, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Sinai Mortuary.

Oscar S. Gluck, M.D.

Oscar S. Gluck, M.D., 55, of Phoenix passed away on July 23, 2004.

He is survived by his eternally loving wife Rosemary, daughters Vanessa and Natalie and granddaughter Isabelle.

He was loved and admired by everyone that touched his life.

He worked tirelessly in the field of Rheumatology and his devotion to the of his field will remain on everybody's mind for years to come.

He is gone but he will never be forgotten.

Arthur Seth Libman

Arthur Seth Libman, beloved husband, father, poppa and friend passed away on July 28th, 2004. He was 78 years young and lived life to his fullest as an accomplished musician and a retired insurance agent.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 14th, 1926 and moved to Sun Lakes, Az in 1988. He was an active member of the Sun Lakes Congregation where he blew the shofar each year, a member of the Jewish War Veterans, a musician's musician, and a mensch.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Casil and Miriam Libman of Mesa, daughter Davida Sue Libman of Phoenicia, New York, grandchildren David and Jessica Libman and companion Charlotte Amiton of Sun Lakes.

Contributions are suggested to Temple Beth Sholom of Chandler or the Jewish War Veterans of Sun Lakes.

Although Dad's horn is silent now, his beautiful music and loving spirit will live forever in our hearts. The world is a better place because he was part of it. We'll miss you Dad!
