Ryan Efune will attend Brandeis University in Walt-ham, Mass., beginning in January 2005. He graduated in the top 19 percent of his class from Chaparral High School and is the co-founder and president of Chaparral's Jewish Student Union.

The Jewish Association of Singles Services has elected its new board of directors: Carole Kaufman, president; Mitch Lover, executive vice president; Sheila Ginis, vice president; Rochelle LeBhar, treasurer; Linda Bertrand, secretary; Geri Adelson, membership vice president; Arlene Cleet, greeter vice president; Steven Adelson, parliamentarian/ sergeant at arms; Barbara Allyn, activities vice president, adviser/contact person; and Andy Karpel, newsletter editor.
