Parents of the groom are Willa and Barry Schneider of Phoenix.
The bride-to-be received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Humboldt State University. She is an administrator at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections.
The groom-to-be received his bachelor's degree in sociology from Northwestern University, and his law degree from Arizona State University. He is an assistant attorney general at the Arizona Office of the Attorney General.
An Oct. 16, 2004, wedding is planned at the Desert Botanical Garden.
