B'nai Mitzvah

Matthew Starkston, son of Judith and Robert Starkston of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah June 26, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Joan and Melvin Starkston of Northbrook, Ill.; Anne Paul of Pasadena, Calif.; and the late Rodman Paul.

Matthew attends Akimel A-al Middle School. His hobby is playing the saxophone.

For his mitzvah project, Matthew prepared and served meals at a homeless shelter.



Gillian Klein, daughter of Pam and Jim Klein of Chandler, will become a bat mitzvah Saturday, June 26, at Temple Beth Sholom.
