B'nai Mitzvah

Samuel Adams Fox, son of Lynda Adams and Ed Fox of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah June 19, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Janet and Walter Adams of Elkview, W.V.; Deborah Fox of Cincinnati; and the late Isadore Fox.

Samuel attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies are reading, tennis, bike riding and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Samuel helped care for injured and sick wildlife at Liberty Wildlife.



Ainsley Cutts, daughter of Shelley and Patrick Cutts of Mesa, will become a bat mitzvah June 19, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Karen and Arthur McKinney of Apache Junction; Ingrid Cutts and Bruce Brown of Callahan, Fla.; and Victor Cutts.

Great-grandparent is Bernard Borses of Delray Beach, Fla.

Ainsley attends Brimhall Junior High School. Her hobby is playing the piano.

For her mitzvah project, Ainsley collected and donated items to the Children's Crisis Center of the East Valley.



Joshua Ryan Topel, son of Marcia and Clifford Topel of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah June 19, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Carole Barenbaum and Sheldon Carey of Peoria; and Fern and Larry Lachman of Surprise.

Great-grandparents are Mary Jane and Larry Barenbaum of Wheeling, Ill.

Joshua attends Sunrise Middle School. His hobbies are baseball, basketball, cars and football.

For his mitzvah project, Joshua helped set up the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and helped demolish a house so it could be renovated as a home for unwed mothers.
