Jeannette Flom was awarded the National School Psychologist Action Network Award of the Year by the National Association of School Psychologists at their national convention in Dallas on April 2. This annual award is given to one school psychologist in the country in appreciation and recognition for professional activity, leadership and dedication in promoting government and professional relations and children' rights. Flom was also the recipient of the President's Award for outstanding service by the Arizona Association of School Psychologist in both 1999 and 2001.

Temple Beth Sholom's Sisterhood has elected a board for the 2004-2005 year: Barbara Tricoci, president; Maggie Diamond, executive vice president; Miriam Libman, membership vice president; Leslie Berkey, programs vice president; Beki Kendrick, treasurer; Lois Zeidman, financial secretary; Kay Levy, recording secretary; Loretta Wernick, corresponding secretary; May Schneiderman, parliamentarian; Elly Johnson, Torah Fund chairwoman; Evelyn Lustig and Bev Kamchi, tribute cards chairwomen; Beki Kendrick and Lynne Sgro, Judaica shop chairwomen; Barbara Glass, telephone chairwoman; Gloria Windmiller, kitchen and kiddush chairwoman; and Nellie Foster, bar mitzvah presenter.
