Well wishes for Cohen

Editor:
I live in London, England, but my wife and I have visited Scottsdale every year for three weeks. For about five years now, we've been receiving the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix online, and I don't think I've missed a page in all that time. I know the paper as well as I know our own "JC" (The Jewish Chronicle).

I read with some sadness today about Barry Cohen's leaving for Oklahoma City and just wanted to take the opportunity to wish him good luck, hatzlacha and b'racha in his new post. ("Cohen returns to congregational world," Jewish News, April 9)

I look forward to my continued weekly online read of your great paper.

How about a 'do not proselytize' list?

Editor:
Now that we have a "do not call" list, I would welcome a "do not proselytize" list. For years, I have been disturbed by groups of people armed with suitcases of literature aimed at selling their religion to me. In the past, I was polite in my explanation that I was secure and content with my own beliefs and requested that they "pass over" my house in the future. That request has been ignored.

I am losing patience with these people and confess I was quite curt with the last group that recently rang my doorbell. I find it disturbing and more than a nuisance. What's a body to do?
