Emphasize Jewish holy sites

Editor:
I was very pleased that you published an article "Going home" (Jewish News, March 26). Encouraging American Jews to visit Israel is terrific.

However, I would have been more pleased if there would have been a picture on Page One of a Jewish holy site. A photo of the Western Wall, the Great Synagogue or the Jewish Quarter could have been selected instead of the Baha'i Gardens in Haifa. Pictures of Jewish holy sites only appeared on pages 10 and 11. Most American Jews do not consider a visit to the Baha'i Gardens as "Going home."

No outrage at Yassin's death

Editor:
The Hamas "spiritual leader" (Ahmed Yassin) was a "poor old man in a wheelchair?" So was wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer when he was shot in the head and pushed overboard by the PLO as they boarded the Achille Lauro in 1985. Trying real hard to be outraged at this recent event, but it's not working.
