Eric Scott Kish, son of Barbara and Michael Kish of Chandler, will become a bar mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Nat and Stan Mintz of Scottsdale; and Bev and Dennis Kish of Payson.

Eric attends Santan K-8 Campus. His hobbies are fishing, soccer, basketball, photography, video games and travel.

For his mitzvah project, Eric is collecting funds and toys for the Arizona State University Foundation Speech and Hearing Department.

Eric's mother Barbara will also become a bat mitzvah on April 3.



Rachael Priscilla Kaplan, daughter of Kim and Jerry Kaplan of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are the late Dorothy and Phillip Kaplan; and the late Priscilla and Howard Cannon.

Rachael attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies are flute, singing, volleyball and Girl Scouts.

For her mitzvah project, Rachael raised funds and volunteered at Whispering Pines, a camp for autistic children.



Gabrielle Esther Zerbib, daughter of Robin and Thierry Zerbib of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Diane and Joseph Zerbib of Phoenix; Jackie Rifkin of Phoenix; and Norman Rifkin of Washington, D.C.

Great-grandparents are Irene Zerbib of Paris; the late Elie Zerbib; and the late Lillian and Joseph Rifkin.

Gabrielle attends Ingleside Middle School. Her hobbies are tennis, piano and trapeze.

For her mitzvah project, Gabrielle is collecting used eyeglasses for the Gift of Sight project.



Nathan Joshua Stoneman, son of Michel Stone Grassl and Mark Stoneman, both of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Edie and Stan Stoneman of Phoenix; and the late Patricia and Marvin Stone.

Nathan attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies are basketball, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.



Kelsey Ann Yukolis, daughter of Deborah and Neal Yukolis of Mesa, will become a bat mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Beth Sholom.

Grandparents are Jean and Merrill Ray of Livonia, Mich.; Bernice Yukolis of Phoenix; and the late Samuel Yukolis.

Kelsey attends Bush Elementary School. Her hobbies are reading and animals.

For her mitzvah project, Kelsey performed 75 hours of community service.



Drew John Gregory, son of Carol and Marc Gregory of Paradise Valley, will become a bar mitzvah April 8, 2004, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Maxine Gregory of Scottsdale; Mary Taunis of Rockford, Ill.; the late Jack Gregory; and the late Paul Taunis.

Great-grandparents are the late Ida and Louis Snyder; and the late Rose and Benjamin Ginzberg.

Drew attends Brophy College Preparatory. His hobbies are track, scuba diving and skiing.

For his mitzvah project, Drew did peer tutoring, volunteered at Andre House and built a storage area for an animal shelter.



Evan Michael Wolfson, son of Carole Wolfson and Peter Wolfson, both of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Elaine and Ben Nachman of Omaha, Neb.; and Ellen and Wally Wolfson of Boynton Beach, Fla.

Evan attends Desert Shadows Middle School. His hobbies are baseball, drums, movies, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

For his mitzvah project, Evan visited Kivel Campus of Care and performed magic tricks for the residents.



Joshua Grey Nomkin, son of Betsy Grey and Joel Nomkin of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Ruth and Richard Grey of Westbury, N.Y.; Milton Nomkin of Potomac, Md.; and the late Gladys Nomkin.

Joshua attends Ingleside Middle School. His hobbies are sports and flute.

For his mitzvah project, Joshua did a combination of Torah, avodah (prayer), and gemilut chasadim (acts of loving kindness).



Molly Rose Aaron, daughter of Mindy and Neil Aaron of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Gloria and Hartley Sappol of Scottsdale; and Carole and Stanley Aaron of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Great-grandparents are Harry Shippen of Phoenix; and the late Jeanette Shippen.

Molly attends Copper Ridge Middle School. Her hobby is skating.

For her mitzvah project, Molly volunteered at the Special Olympics.



Sara Emily Paull, daughter of Susan and Dana Paull of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah April 3, 2004, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Jeanne and Edward Levy of Scottsdale; and Betty and Joseph Revis of Washington, D.C.

Sara attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies are ballet and art.

For her mitzvah project, Sara volunteered at a camp for abused children.
